Insurance and Finance

If you have pet insurance we understand that you want to be reimbursed by the insurance company as promptly as possible. We have members of staff dedicated to processing your insurance claim as soon as your pet is discharged from the hospital.

• Please check your insurance policy terms and conditions, as most companies now require you to inform them if your pet is referred.
• Please bring a claim form and your policy details with you to the consultation to speed up the claims process.

0% Finance
You may be able to arrange a 0% interest loan* to cover the cost of your pet’s treatment. This is subject to conditions and following a simple application process, our receptionist can help you fill out the application over the phone and we will usually be able to give you an answer within two hours.

Direct Claim Insurance
Many clients enquire about the possibility of a Direct Claim, where the insurance company pays us directly without you having to find the funds and pay our bill immediately.

However, not all insurance companies have this policy. There can be a long delay before we receive payment for your pet’s treatment and there are additional administrative costs to us. So, where we are able to process a Direct Claim, NKR will charge a service fee of 3.5% of the direct claim (minimum fee of £35).
