Where Will Your Cat Stay?

We have two cat wards that are quiet areas separate from our dog wards. These rooms are well ventilated and have gas central heating to ensure your cat remains comfortable. A giant fish tank separates both wards providing natural light and also some gentle visual stimulation for your pet. If we think it may be beneficial to the cats, we can turn a radio on quietly in the corner of the room to provide some extra comfort.

Cats may be admitted to NKR for a variety of illnesses, many requiring intensive care and careful monitoring. Electronic fluid pumps are available on every kennel for fluid therapy, alongside other monitoring and treatment equipment.

All the cat kennels are roomy and some have two compartments to allow separate eating and toileting areas. There are also two walk-in cat kennels that allow patients more room to move around and play when they are able. Our kennels are easy to clean and disinfect and are provided with bedding according to the needs or wants of the patient, in nearly all cases this comprises a comfy Vetbed mattress. We have a variety of cat litters available to allow for the toileting preferences of individual cats.
