Nursing Team

Orthopaedic, soft tissue and ophthalmic procedures performed under general anaesthetic (GA) require specialised staff and equipment. NKR Veterinary Specialists' nurses are divided into ward, medical, surgical (orthopaedic and soft tissue) and ophthalmic teams.

At NKR Veterinary Specialists we believe strongly in the importance of confident and competent nursing. All our NKR nurses are fully qualified and encouraged to attend continuing professional development courses, both in the UK and overseas, which helps to extend their knowledge and skills. We take our nurses’ training very seriously as they are the back-bone of the complete support that all our patients receive in their care and treatment while in the hospital.
