We Welcome James Oliver to the Ophthalmology Service

NKR Veterinary Specialists would like to welcome James Oliver BVSc CertVOphthal DipECVO MRCVS, who will be joining NKR and from February 2012, will be taking over the Ophthalmology service.

 

James graduated from the University of Bristol in 2002 where his passion for ophthalmology began. He then worked in small animal general practice until 2007 when he obtained the RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology.

 

He began a three year ophthalmology residency program at Davies Veterinary Specialists, Hertfordshire, which he completed in 2010. He passed his European Specialist examinations in 2011 and is a recognised European Specialist in Veterinary Ophthalmology.

 

James is interested in all aspects of small animal ophthalmology. He has published widely in the veterinary literature and has presented his research at several international meetings.
