Matthew Morgan BVSc MRCVS

Matthew graduated in 1999 from the University of Melbourne, and after a couple of years in mixed practice in central Victoria moved to the UK to locum and travel.
He married, had a son and acquired a mortgage and soon found his way to Vets Now. He was the senior vet for several years at two of the Vets Now clinics, and was a member of their Advanced Workshop Group that designed a curriculum for the current modular certificate in ECC. The Group also presented case reports at the annual Vets Now Congress as well as the European and International Veterinary Emergency / Critical Care Conferences.

Matthew also worked at the Beds Vets Emergency Clinic in Bedfordshire before joining NKR Veterinary Specialists as part of the Emergency and Critical Care team. He is supervisor for the ECC rotation of the interns at NKR, and regularly presents CPD sessions for the nurses. His main interests are acute trauma care, fluid therapy & vascular access, and anaesthesia for trauma and critical patients.
