Julien Renard DVM MRCVS

Julien graduated in 2001 from the University of Liege in Belgium. He spent 5 years in France and Belgium working with race horses. “I was dealing exclusively with orthopaedic consultations. Race horses are my passion but it was time consuming and I had no time for personal life." He decided to move to the UK to start a new career with small animals. He worked as an emergency vet since he moved in the UK in 2006.“I love the challenge and stressful situations, that’s mainly the reason why I like dealing with emergency situations."

Julien worked at VetsNow Canterbury before joining NKR Veterinary Specialists as part of the Emergency and Critical Care Team. His main interest are emergency surgeries and trauma.

Outside of the clinic he is interested with “new technologies” and is swimming when he has a bit of time.
