Andrea di Bella DVM CertSAM MRCVS

Andrea graduated from the Veterinary School of Turin, Italy in 1994, after which he worked in general practice as a locum, and then in his own practice. During these years he developed a strong interest in internal medicine, and spent some weeks visiting the Royal Veterinary College of London. His growing interest and knowledge in medicine allowed him to consult for several private practices in Italy in which he was seeing medicine referral cases.

Andrea completed an internship in a referral practice in the UK and enrolled for an ECVIM residency program. He frequently spent time at the Royal Veterinary College and Cambridge University, as part of his external rotations, and had the privilege of working with recognised specialists in cardiology, neurology, clinical pathology and diagnostic imaging. Andrea was awarded the RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Medicine in 2008, and finished his residency training in June 2009. He has a special interest in clinical haematology and cytology, but enjoys the broad spectrum of disease entities seen in referral medicine.
