Our helpful NKR Ambulance drivers are an added support for you and your pet if you have difficulty with transport. NKR Veterinary Specialists can provide you with an NKR Veterinary Ambulance to assist with your journey, to and from your home or your own veterinary practice, please ask our administration team for a quote.
Our NKR ambulances are equipped with oxygen and essential drugs. Critical patients are accompanied on their journey by an NKR Intern, who is also a veterinary surgeon, or by a nurse.
Due to their highly specialised nature, some essential services such as radiotherapy, CT scanning or MRI are carried out externally. Ambulance transport between the hospital and these services is complementary. In certain circumstances it is necessary to transport patients between our Kent ophthalmic, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgical units and our Surrey and London clinics, this is also free of charge.
